UAS LifeSciences, Wausau, WI, has introduced a completely rebranded line of probiotics called, UP4 a Happier Inside – Probiotics with DDS-1.  The new line of probiotics was designed for easier consumer selection and specifically formulated for individual consumer needs. Each product features the UAS super strain, Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS-1.
 
According to the company, the probiotic strains used in this line can withstand the rigors of manufacturing, distribution and storage, and maintain their viability for over 24 months. The probiotic strains used have been selected for their natural acid and bile resistance and require no special chemical coatings to get to the digestive tract alive. All products are non-dairy, gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO. 
 
Changes have been made in all the products including more concentrated probiotics allowing the use of smaller, single-dose capsules that are easier to swallow and a total quantity increase from 50 days to 2 months’ supply. Products in the line include:
·      UP4 Acidopilus:DDS Acidophilus is now UP4 Acidophilus. The product still contains only the probiotic super strain, L. acidophilus DDS-1. 
·      UP4 Daily:DDS Plus, the company’s most popular product, is now UP4 Daily. The supplement contains 5 billion CFU per serving of L. acidophilus DDS-1 and B. longum. 
·      UP4 Adult:UP4 Adult replaces Probioplus DDS, and now has an increased potency from 10 billion up to 15 billion CFU per serving of L. acidophilus DDS-1, B. lactis, B. longum and B. bifidum. 
·      UP4 Junior:UP4 Junior replaces DDS Junior and maintains the same tested formula of B. lactis and L. acidophilus DDS-1 in an easy-to-use powder formulated for infants and young children. 
·      UP4 Green:UP4 Green replaces ProbioGreen and contains high quality organic Spirulina along with the UP4 Adult formula.
·      UP4 Women’s:UP4 Women’s replaces Cran-Gyn DDS and has been reformulated to contain the Lactobacillifound in a healthy vaginal tract — L. rhamnosus, L. plantarum, L. gasseri along with L. acidophilus DDS-1 and B. lactis. All stains are at a higher potency of 10 billion CFU per serving. UP4 Women’s also contains certified organic cranberry containing 36 mg of proanthocyanidins, the active portion of cranberry, to help maintain a healthy urinary tract. 
 
In addition there are three exciting new products in the line— KIDS CUBES, UP4 Senior and UP4 Ultra.
